Why are people portraying the symbiote as if it were attracted to humans? Even Hulk would make more sense. But I'm pretty sure Venom see people as food sources, at least when he's being a full villain

Venom literally became a thing because the Symbiote got rejected by Peter and it's been described as jealous and mad ex multiple times.
