To be honest, the first time I saw the "Kamijou looking out the window in the hospital bed" scene I could have SWORN it was Sayaka´s mom. Seriously. I was surprised it was actually a boy.

The fact the sick ones are always the brother, sister, or mother in this kind of stories didn´t help. (Dads are almost always either dead or gone.)
