Though I must say, at least for this game it's justified (Mostly due to the various possible allusions and spirit motif present).

I've noticed a recent influx of Satsuki Rin fanart. And it wouldn't exactly be out of character for ZUN to troll our expectations...

But she already appeared as the Stage 1 midboss. :(

Not by much. Yuuka kept her main design, just got a dress instead of pants. Reimu...kind of a major change. Marisa...just finetuned. Alice? Alice just fucking grew.

Then Mima would be getting legs.

I dunno... I mean, ZUN knows how to troll, but he also knows what his fans want. Like when they were disappointed by Marisa's lack of Master Spark in MoF and SA, so ZUN brought it back in UFO. If (maybe I should say "when") Mima comes back, don't expect that much of a redesign.

And yes, she had legs in Mystic Square. Personally, I hope she keeps them.
