You are sleeping, then you are startled awake by a loud SCHLOP SCHLOP SCHLOP of your German Shepherd taking an early morning drink. You close your eyes. You are then startled once by the sound of your dog shaking itself dry next to your bed and feel the pelting of water being flung at you because he thinks its funny. You get out of bed to dry yourself off only to return to find a 140 lbs (63 kg) dog now on your bed, in your place.
A friend of mine had a cat that in the middle of the night would take a sock and then soak it in his water dish. He'd then take the wet sock and leave it in the hallway where someone would unfortunately commonly end up stepping on it in the morning.
