Did you accidentally drag the picture? That causes it, among other things.

No. Literally the boxes were there, or at least something in the background of the speech bubble that was in the shape of a box, but they couldn't be dragged around nor did they disappear when clicking on the image. I've seen it in some other strips in other series as well.

hmm, the last one doesn't apply if it was with the person you are going to marry anyway
