I just noticed she scratched her mom's face on the photo she brought with her. This small detail can be also seen in the previous post. This is really heartbreaking; the young little girl is angry with her mom for turning into an alcoholic.
Grumpy Nun: "Running away to become homeless was stupid, very stupid. Yet I don't regret getting away from my worthless drunkard of a mother." Duck: "I was happy as the Nuns found us. Yet I smelled a retcon was happening as well."
That said, this arc definitely puts Strict Nun's concern for Clumsy in a new light. She wants to be the mother (figure) to Clumsy that she felt never really had as a kid.
