Marisa's attitude is reminding me of Sasuke from Naruto

I can see parallels but the difference is Sasuke was treating Naruto the way Marisa is treating Reimu when Naruto actually busted his ass to get where he was at and even then he was initially inferior to Sasuke without the Kyuubi, unlike Reimu who is canonically lazy when it comes to training but is still superior to Marisa due to natural talent alone.

Also, while Sasuke does train hard, most of his power comes from his Sharingan (ie- his own natural talent). Ironically enough, Sasuke gets better from the various power-ups associated with his eyes/natural talent (that usually come at the cost of doing something evil) than he does from his genuine hard work. Marisa's power is 100% earned through blood, sweat, and tears, even the copying of other magic-users' spells (unlike Sasuke who can just look at someone perform a jutsu and then copy it), and now she's learned that she has nothing to show for it save horrific nightmares of everyone she admires telling her she's trash.

In this doujin at least, Marisa is actually more like Lee... if, after all of his hard work, he suffered from self-induced mind rape and then learned that it really was impossible for him to become a splendid ninja.
