You Know I think Alice sees what Marisa is doing is something a long the lines spitting of at those who have tried to become magicians and failed, when Marisa is one of the few with the correct mindset to make it to where Alice is.

Plus I kind think she's seeing Reimu in the wrong light. When you think about wasn't Reimu born into being Genskoyo's shrine maiden while its completely obvious Marisa chose to be a magician. Its also Marisa's choice to be as powerful as Reimu. Where as Reimu may nt have to work hard, she has to be extremely powerful to be able to deal with Yukari and more powerful beings, because that part of her job.
