So it wasn't Yukari. It was Patchy screwing around again.

So, umm... could someone please explain to me what Patchy and Remi's motivations were in this one? Because I'm completely not getting why Remi was glaring out the window, why Patchy would make the oyster only to not want it there, what Sakuya faking sleep and crying was all about, or why Remi was angry...

Best I can come up with is that Patchy was just solving a problem she started (It's her job description after all) and Remi wanted it to stop bothering Sakuya because it was interrupting her work ability. Remi was glaring out the window a couple pages ago just to see what Sakura and Meiling was up to. Patchy likely was just experimenting with the clam and only recently discovered it was being a nuisance (Since it only seems to effect Sakuya). Sakuya faked sleeping and cried when Remi came by because she was still suffering from the insane illusions the clam was giving her, so she might have been afraid that she'd hurt the Mistress if she looked at Illusion-altered Remi for too long. Remi is just angry that Sakuya has been ignoring her because of the insane calm illusions.

And angry that Sakura felt that she had to take it all on without involving Remi...

I'm surprised you were aware of its weakness to things with metallic taste, though.

    Ah, Patchouli-sama.
Looks like it's all taken care of now.
    Of course.
    Yes, it's definitely dead.
    Huh?
    *gasp*
Well, I thought it'd be harmless anyway, so...
Even if that's the case, please don't just neglect matters like that...!
Ah, that reminds me, we were short one clam, weren't we?
It was a magical being that I created, after all.
