If she really came from outside, god is not someone you play danmaku with. Other than being probably more powerful, they doesn't seem that much different from creatures such as Yukari.

As far as touhou canon goes, in gensokyo the line between a god and a very powerful youkai are blurry.

Then again, Sakuya is not commenting on gods but rather on a psychological support - Something she believes to support her, dubbed "the" god she has lost faith in.

As far as worship goes anyway. Even if said gods existed, Sakuya still probably would not honor or worship or except their hands of salvation if they are dicks or tyrants....
