This is sad to watch. Why did they just charge in, instead of coming up with a plan? Alice said she'd be a decoy so they could have attempted to have Alice charge in, then have Nitori make a grab while Reimu attacked Alice. Or something like that, I dunno. Anything other than charging straight at the bitch and getting swatted.
Other than that, it seems like this is how every match against Red 75% is going to go. The opposing team will use every trick they can possibly try, which will look to be effective, but then they will overcome it and effortlessly stomp all over their opposition. Apart from the fact that I hate Reimu and dislike Remilia, this formula makes it boring to watch their matches cause you know all these tricks are not going to do anything for the opposition.
The highlight of this match was Reimu taking a wooden horse to the crotch. That was just beautiful.

I detest reimu for the fact she gets plot armor in almost all the comics. I hope suika or yuugi (she is still in the back up bracket I think) shove reimu's face into the floor. Sorry to all the reimu fans, I just don't like plot armor.

Well it's not Reimu's fault that Marisa and Co. is one of the weaker teams in this. Sanae's victories were are more plot armor-ful than this. And to a degree, Reimu's first victory as Reisen and Youmu were stronger than Marisa and Co. but folded quickly once their plan became undone. In contrast it's basically Reimu by herself against what's left of the team.
Looking at this from the perspective of someone who normally likes both Reimu and Marisa, I can't help but feel like this comments section, and many preceding it, belong on TV Tropes under Ron The Death Eater.
Given that that is the case, I will happily participate by reinterpreting Marisa's speech earlier to mean that she'd rather plunge Gensokyo into chaos and possibly get Reimu killed than face the minor indignity of not having the crowd on her side in a wrestling match.
well Andalusi I happen to disagree I like both of them too but on canon Marisa whole world is based that with enough work and planning someone can become strong, Marisa is the hard worker type but she will also use any means like stealing,using artefacts like her mini hakkero to close that gap but what this Marisa diverts from canon is that she does not mind to show how much she works something that canon Marisa really tries to hide.

Actually, I was complaining about what people are saying about Reimu. She's getting a lot of completely unearned venom.
Ah so this is about Reimu, Unlike Marisa it is her job to solve incidents But she is doing this for the wrong reasons It is canon that Sikieiki Yamaxanadu told Reimu that her sins run so deep she can't enter even hell because of the way she is handling things so her only hope to be saved is to help as many people as she can (Marisa aims to create more incidents? incidents = helping, I think this is what this autor is trying to aim) But Reimu just like in canon is aware of that and she does not mind to follow her own path even if it means to suffer that cruel fate.

People are complaining because despite the fact Reimu took enough abuse to make anyone else a poorly coordinated heap, she's still standing and is able to use her "JUST CREATED MASTER TECHNIQUE" to effortlessly fling people around.
Reimi I can forgive because she's physically strong thanks to her being an S class Youkai. Reimu doesn't even train herself spiritually let alone physically to do this shit.

You missed earlier in the comic where she was seen training with Remi, building up a nice sweat. I think she and Remi had an idea of what they were getting into unlike Marisa and Nitori (or Ran and Chen for that matter)

Amen bro! For most of the matches, I really don't care who wins (for the most part, I have preferred victors, but thats merely because I like certain characters) so long as it's entertaining, and this match has certainly met that criteria.
That said. What purpose would Marissa's team serve if they won. They would have proven that those deemed "weak" can triumph over the so called "strong". And then what? What else could they contribute.
Same thing with, Kaguya/Mokou vs. Shiki/Komachi. Kaguya and Mokou still have possible development, while Shiki and Komachi didn't really have anything, they only served as something to kick off their opponents character growth.
