Maybe her sleeves react to stress. Do you remember the other times they grew?

Considering how nice a person Daiyousei is in this series, I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up nursing Aya back to health.

It's stuff like this that irritates me that Yuuka got washed out so early in the tournament. I'm sure Yukari would let her 'buy back' in, like how you do in poker. She's probably one of the few that could give showoffs like Reimu or Kaguya a dose of humility as she pummels them into mosaic.
