    The artist could be a Bio major or similar. "Write what you know" and all that, it could have been a different topic entirely and worked just as well.

    While the Power to Freeze Images in her memory is so groan-worthy I almost hate myself for saying it, it would explain why she's reciting random trivia with no context. Or why she believes that youkai biologically identical to humans. She might not even know what she's saying, she just memorized word patterns.

    Well... Satori read her mind and confirmed that she's a genius (I think even a super genius), so there ya go. Personally, I don't think the fairy is all that stupid. I think she's so smart, she just acts the way she does to have a feeling of acceptance, rather than be her true self because of the nagging feeling that she may come off to others as a "know-it-all" or to refrain from intimidating people, etc.

    ...of course, I could be reading to deep into things (as usual) and she's just some fairy who has an inner genius frozen inside of her mind, with the occasional slippage of intelligence being uttered as the above comment said. It would explain the randomness of the facts she telling Rumia.
