It's kinda funny that when a contributor uploads this artist's works, they aren't removed, but when a lower rank user tries to upload his works, they are not approved.
The approval system's quite flawed, to be honest. It just asks for one of the janitors or above to personally like the image. It doesn't necessarily say much for the quality of an image in most cases, it just means those particular approvers like the series or the character. Look at all the piss poor, 10 minute drawings of Touhou characters that get approved and all the equal or slightly better drawings of other series that don't get approved.

I think some of the other booru sites like gelbooru don't have an approval system and nearly all posters use both sites so any pics that get taken down from here still remain there.
