The FN SCAR (Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle) is a family of gas-operated short-stroke gas piston rifles developed by FN Herstal in 2004. There are two major variants, SCAR-L (light) assault rifle and the SCAR-H (heavy) battle rifle. The weapon is quite recognizable by its ugg boot-shaped adjustable folding stock.
