Azur Lane's personification of the German heavy cruiser Roon, as part of a collaboration with World of Warships.
Character design by Terras, voiced by Satou Satomi.
See post #3103489.
Roon never saw much in the way of development, and no ship of her class was even considered, ordered, or laid down. The concept was largely based on a triple 8" turret designed by the Kriegsmarine.
In-game, she is portrayed with blonde hair and brown eyes, with large breasts. Her default outfit consists of an open black jacket, black double-breasted collared shirt with an Iron Cross medal, black pleated skirt, and black knee boots.
Her rigging is emblazoned with some white Iron Crosses and a black-white stripe pattern. It consists of animalistic hull pieces holding her two triple and two twin 203 mm mounts, her intended armament, plus various 105 mm anti-aircraft guns and searchlights.
Her looks hide a highly-sinister personality. Similar to Graf Zeppelin, Roon is sadistic, relishing in bloodshed against her enemies, and even expresses willingness to attack her own allies. She becomes rather yandere for the Commander with enough affection, and will eagerly kill anyone who attempts to come between the two.
In reference to World of Warships from which she's taken, Roon gains a skill based off of one in the game. In this case, she holds the "Expert Loader" skill, which translates into Azur Lane as her changing shell types between high explosive and armor-piercing on the fly.
