Several popular trophies in modern culture include the Stanley Cup for the winning team of the National Hockey Leauge playoffs; the Vince Lombardi Trophy for the winner of the Super Bowl; and the Academy Award (also called The Oscars after the statue's name) honoring the best in film for the year.
