Cereal Cookie was first made publicly known in DevNow 2022, where during the Cookie Run: OvenBreak segment, a variety of concept designs for Cookies that were both released and unreleased were displayed. Later that day, CM Rose hosted a livestream where some of the concept art was displayed in high quality, including Cereal Cookie.
