Enemies found in the Hollows of Zenless Zone Zero where they are born. Both living and artificial beings can become corrupted into Ethereals from prolonged exposure inside a Hollow.
While they vary greatly in appearance, they most often resemble human-like creatures with black bodies that are accented with glowing neon-green segments. Generally they have a mix of biological and crystalline traits, along with a black sphere which is their "core". A weak spot that is guarded with armor. More powerful Ethereals have white crystals on their body and their green color is replaced with pink.
