The latest mobile suit of the Principality of Zeon, utilizing Omega-Psycommu technology developed from the Red Gundam. Also known as the Endymion unit, the Omega Psycommu was developed using OOP (out-of-place) parts that came from the other side containing the consciousness of Amuro Ray, which is revealed and does help Machu during her decisive final battle.
It is also notable for being the first lead Gundam to be equipped with an axe, which is usually a signature weapon of antagonist mass production type mobile suits, such as the Zaku II's heat hawk.
