Kai Ni form
ayanami kai ni (kancolle)
The second remodel/kai ni of Kantai Collection's Ayanami.
Upon kai ni, she changes attire to the standard Special Type Kai Ni uniform: a white serafuku, black sailor collar with a red stripe, black skirt, and black kneehighs with the same red stripe. Otherwise, her physical attributes remain unchanged from base form.
She obtains a second 12.7 cm Type B twin gun mount as opposed to just one in base form but what is worth noting is that she also gains a searchlight attached on a loose belt slung to her waist. The lighting used in her kai ni CG where she is illuminated by her searchlight gives a mistaken impression that she also gains a tan.
