bucket hat
A soft cotton hat with a wide and downward-sloping brim. Favored by fishermen.
If the character is using an actual bucket as a hat, use bucket on head. Do not confuse with pith helmet, a hard downward-sloping cotton hat stereotypically associated with safaris, or boonie hat, a very similar hat worn by some types of infantry soldier.
