johnny storm

乔尼·斯通 乔纳森·斯通 霹雳火 JohnnyStorm ジョニー・ストーム HumanTorch

Johnathan Storm, also known as the Human Torch, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, Johnny first appeared in The Fantastic Four #1 (Nov. 1961) and was a reincarnation of the android Human Torch, also known as Jim Hammond, who was created in 1939 by Carl Burgos for Timely Comics.

A founding member of the Fantastic Four, he received his powers after being exposed to high levels of radiation in space. After their mother, Mary, died in a car crash and their father, Dr. Franklin Storm, being sent to prison for accidently killing a person, Johnny and his older sister Sue went to live with their aunt, who ran a boarding house. There Sue would meet and fall in love with Reed Richards, who was working on an experimental rocket ship called Marvel-1. After the government cut it's funding, Reed decided to take it to space, along with Sue, Johnny and pilot Ben Grimm. In space, they were hit by a cosmic storm, exposing each of them to cosmic radiation and sent them crashing back down to Earth. The experience gave each of them superhuman abilities and they decided to become the Fantastic Four.

After being hit by the cosmic radiation, Johnny and his friends were mutated, allowing him to control heat energy and transform his body into a fiery plasma. He can generate and control fire from his body and can also fly when aflame, capable of reaching supersonic speeds. Johnny has short blonde hair, blue eyes and usually wears a two-tone blue and black bodysuit with the Fantastic Four logo on it.

Johnny is portrayed by Chris Evans in the 2005 film Fantastic Four and its 2007 sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (as well as Deadpool & Wolverine), Michael B. Jordan in the 2015 film Fantastic Four, and Joseph Quinn in the Marvel film The Fantastic Four: First Steps. He has also appeared in various other Marvel-releated media like TV shows and video games, including Marvel Future Fight and Marvel Rivals.
