kobold

コボルド

A race of short reptilian humanoids found mostly in Western fantasy settings.

"Kobold" originally refers to a type of small nature sprite from Germanic folklore. Dungeons & Dragons used the word for a race of small and weak monstrous humanoids. In the early black-and-white artwork, they were ambiguously reptilian and/or doglike. Later editions of D&D clarified them as reptilian and draconic, while most Japanese media interpreted them as dog people. This tag refers to the former.
