Skull Fang: Kuhga Gaiden (スカルファング ～空牙外伝～), known outside of Japan simply as Skull Fang, is a 1996 vertical-scrolling shoot 'em up science fiction arcade video game developed and published by Data East.

Skull Fang is the third and final game in the Kuhga trilogy and brings back the gameplay of the original Vapor Trail, but substitutes the original 2D graphics with 3D polygonal sprites. Players choose one of four jets set among the "Skull Fang" - a flying aircraft carrier - as well as a roster of 4 different pilots to fly the selected jet and attack enemy terrorist squadrons and battalions world wide.

The three original experimental jets from Kuhga make a return, and are now complemented with a new powerful plane called the BV-04 SIF, a recently developed space-jet with the best handling over the others.

Skull Fang was later ported by both Data East and Aisystem Tokyo to the Sega Saturn in 1997. This port adds several new features, such as a trial mode, a boss rush mode, a tutorial video and an additional speed mode which has two settings rather than five.
