pepsiman (game)

A 1999 PlayStation 1 endless runner videogame developed by KID (Kindle Imagine Develop), the creators of Memories Off. In the game, the players control Pepsiman, the Japanese mascot of Pepsi, where he travels to four different locations in the US (San Francisco, New York City, Texas and the fictional Pepsi City), where he solves various crisis that involves Pepsi. Despite being a Japanese release only game, the game is spoken in English and includes several live action cut scenes featuring Canadian actor Mike Butters who praises the player for completing a stage while also drinking cans of Pepsi.

Despite being only available in Japan and low sales, the game gained a international cult following years later thanks to the game's absurd premise, is consider a predecessor of Temple Run and being a good Advergame.
