predacon

A faction of malevolent sentient robots from the Beast Wars portion of the Transformers franchise. They are the descendants of the Decepticons, and their alternate forms that tend to be reptiles, insects, and crustaceans.

In Japan, they referred to as Destrons, the same name used for the Decepticons in most Japanese releases.
