pulgasari (1985)

A 1985 cult classic North Korean kaiju film, mostly known for having been directed and produced by South Korean director Shin Sang-ok while being held captive by Kim Jong Il from the late 1970's to the mid-80's.

The movie follows the daughter of a blacksmith in the Goryeo dynasty, the titular monster and their rebellion against a corrupt king.
