sage (final fantasy)

Job in the Final Fantasy series, able to cast a wide variety of magic including both Black Magic and White Magic. They usually wield staves, though in the job's Final Fantasy XIV appearance they wield pointed floating weapons called nouliths which fire lasers at enemies.
