the pink panther

A series of comedy movies concerning the bumbling inspector Jacques Clouseau and his attempts to solve cases. Best known for its opening sequence, in which an actual cartoon pink panther named after the titular gem is shown. This character eventually spun off into his own series of animated theatrical shorts.
