AI-generated art check thread

Artist bio claims no AI, but style and things like the ribbons and hair ornament being different than the original are pretty sus.

Zoom in and this is very obviously a no. Aside from that, the details are also very consistent, there is no distortion on the bow, eyes, or ruffles.

The hair ornament isn't even that different, it's just a different color. Artists take liberties with outfits all the time.

The aforementioned comparison tweet is deleted, so I can't tell, but looking at the artist's other posts and timelapses on Twitter, I think if anything this is AI-assisted at most.

AI gen/assistance probably started 4 months ago. Looking for a second opinion before flagging
post #9290650 hair, random bg
post #9088993 hair, artifacts on the bottom of the dress
post #8886652 sharp lines drawn over blurry AI
post #8872961 this might be the earliest one

These do look assisted to me, I agree. Tagged and I flagged the latter two for poor quality.

Is this ai?

Yes, I think so.

Having doubts.

It's literally the very first post of a recently created account. They don't have anything else, not even in their Pixiv Fanbox, something smells fishy. I'd say give it a few days to see how fast they post or if they start to post obviously AI-generated stuff; FWIW I don't see any AI usage in that image. I don't think it's AI-assisted either.

Honestly the "piss filter" as i dub it looks a bit strange, i dunno, having everything be tinted yellow just looks strange to me for some reason. I don't know if this image IS ai but we'll have to see

post #9433853 and child post #9433855

The artist's fanbox page makes reference to using AI art as "reference", according to machine translation. The clothing here changes in ways that are extremely reminiscent of inpainting - anything created in photoshop/GIMP/etc using layers would not cause this sort of redraw. There's also a minor change for where her hair goes over her top which was corrected in the child post, which also should not occur in layered art.

It may be "AI-assisted" rather than purely AI-generated, but it's not tagged either which way.

artist #543518 Fresh self-uploader, and a style I don't trust. Lack of any other available socials doesn't help.

832x1216 lol

That's definitely AI-generated, that resolution is one of the few that SD officially supports. You can also look at the shoulders, where her physical shoulder has flat, sharp angles. Even if someone had sketched or outlined this before filling it in/drawing over it with a painting program it wouldn't produce those lines.

I was scrolling through artist #410482 's bsky account and wondered for a moment if they were a repost account because their art styles are all over the place. Then I figured AI is another possibility

EDIT: I just noticed that all but one of the watercolor-style drawings from their earliest uploads have now been deleted from their pixiv. There's also post #9424826 which has thoughtful composition (though the individual poses are likely referenced exactly from the anime)
