anatomical nonsense

A depiction of a character's body that flagrantly defies common sense, especially to comedic effect. This does not mean "bad anatomy, but even worse!", nor does it cover conventional stylizations like chibi; it represents a conscious total disregard both for realistic anatomy and for the usual stylistic deviations therefrom.

Absurd proportions are often used for comedic effect, but may very well also be a serious artistic choice, often seen in art genres like surrealism and cubism.

Examples

extremely long neck
anatomical nonsense in cubism
extremely small head
face-body mismatch
